I am pretty new to graphite, so I'm quite proud of this one. I just recently got the hang of making fur look sorta real, so I had to try it out on my favorite breed of dog
I was going for the "not finished" look, but it didn't turn out as I'd hoped, and i'm sure you can tell I got quite bored. I took a photograph of the drawing at an angle, so the drawing looks a little scrunched. He really does have German Shepherd sized ears, honest
I'm going to have to get me some of those nifty transfer paper things, to transfer the image to a clean piece of paper after all the erasing!
Holy Crap!! Thats amazing! I have never seen a drawing that great!! WOW!!
*runs around cheering*
hehe is that a good enough comment for you?
Im really impressed with this one.. you are getting so good.
*gives you my art supplies* you can get better use out of these
Very nice!! It's always good to see drawings of German Sheperds, one of my favorite dogs since one of my sisters got one!!
I actually have pictures of him in my photo gallery which is linked to this userid!!
The only thing I can say is his tongue seems a bit longer than usual but that could be something that's true with the original dog too, other than that it looks beautiful!!

Why is that whenever they want me to come up with something as simple as a signature I go braindead--all my creative juices just freeze up
Thank you very much for the nice comment Your GS is quite beautiful!
I agree about the tongue looking a little to long (the ears look to short), but I took a pic (hate my scanner) of the drawing at an angle, to reduce the glare. In reality it looks in proportion, though.
Thanks again!

Really? You found the photo gallery? THat's awesome because I don't think anyone has gone there in ages!
Anyhoots, I think it's cool that you got the digicam to take a picture that nice! For some reason my Dad's camera took crap pictures of the Shivan Dragon pic I used it for--so for that reason I prefer scanners but I also have access to some nice new ones at the Public Library I go to!!
Anyways. keep up the good work! I would love to see you do a drawing of my German Sheperd sometime!
